Do you have a lucky number? I personalised some white coffee mugs with some of our family’s lucky numbers. I used some black waterproof vinyl and the Cricut to cut out the numbers/symbols and then applied them to some of our coffee mugs to give them a new lease of life.
I love how they look in our kitchen.
Super easy and quick project.
I was inspired by this photo spotted on pinterest. If you like vinyl projects, check out our Vinyl Magic board on Pinterest.
Edit: Sheets of oudoor vinyl that can be cut with Cricut and Silhouette machines is available from a number of Etsy Sellers. According to reading I have done, the vinyl is suitable for top rack on the dishwasher. I prefer to handwash them so haven’t tried this out myself. However as you only use a small amount of vinyl and it is a cheap project, it would be easy to redo them if the vinyl did peel off eventually.

fun way to customize your mugs. I agree with Sara, this is a great idea for Christmas gifts. I do love that typeface you used for your numbers.

I love these mugs and would really like to try to make them. They would make wonderful gifts. Do you have a tutorial and where would I find the vinyl? Also would they be dishwasher safe? Thank you so much.
