March 13, 2012 By Spoonful of Sugar - 94 Comments

Now that the weather is cooling and autumn is here, it is time to start stocking up on yarn for your next knitted or crocheted project. It is an exciting time to be working with fibres, with an explosion of new yarn and pattern designers all putting a fresh and modern take on traditional crafts of knitting and crocheting.

Australian knitters and those who love to crochet can now buy high quality yarn at great prices from a new online store, suzy hausfrau! This new online store offers FREE shipping to all customers in Australia, no matter how remote the location is. Owner, Renae Beardmore, says that giving her country customers access to gorgeous yarns is something that she is passionate about, “I get feedback from customers in regional Australia, that it is fantastic that they can finally get their hands on these beautiful yarns.”

The range of yarns, patterns and accessories at suzy hausfrau is growing every week. They currently have in stock: Debbie Bliss, MillaMia, BC Garn and Holst Garn, plus Lantern Moon and Brittany knitting needles and crochet hooks. MadelineTosh, Amy Butler and Kaffe Fassett yarns will all be arriving in the next few weeks!

The Danish brands, Holst Garn and BC Garn, have never been available in Australia before, and Renae is constantly on the lookout for overseas trends, and new and interesting lines to add to the product range.

You can view the entire range, online at www.suzyhausfrau.com.au.

As well as FREE shipping to all Australian customers, suzy hausfrau offers a 10%  discount for orders of $60 or more.
Renae is generously giving away a $100 gift voucher to suzy hausfrau to a lucky A Spoonful of Sugar reader   – it can be used for yarn, patterns, books, needles.

I love yarn that has been hand spun and sourced from all manner of fabrics like bamboo and silk. I have a skein sent to me from a friend in the US that is so precious because of the amazing quality and the fact it was produced with her own hands.. a side benefit is that it dosent make me itch as I am allergic to wool it seems.
