Coasters (or if you prefer mug rugs) are a great way to add a holiday decorating element and can be quickly made to suit the occasion. My latest Halloween sewing pattern is for the Ghoster Coaster – a spooky duo that featuring a low volume patchwork body, with appliqued eyes. This ghoster duo is perfect for snack time during Halloween.
I have a large assortment of low volume scraps and this was the perfect project to put them to good use. The Ghoster Coaster includes two templates so you can make a matching set.
Like all of my patterns, this one is suitable for a beginner. Ghoster Coaster would be a great skill builder to practice some simple chain piecing as you put together the patchwork panels.
