Easter Scavenger Hunt

March 6, 2013 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 9 Comments

We have an Egg Hunt every Easter. Now the kids are teens, they still like to participate but we make it more challenging with cryptic clues to guide them in their search. To make it more fun this year, we have made some Mini Envelopes, decorated with Bunny silhouettes, to hold the clues.
The envelopes were very quick to make. A mini envelope was taken apart to use as a template. Trace the envelope shape onto some double sided scrap booking paper. Cut out the envelope shape and score the fold lines. The back and bottom flaps were sealed up with glue.

We cut the Bunny silhouettes using our Cricut machine (Folk Art Festival Cartridge), and glued them to the front of the envelope.

Now we just have to dream up some challenging clues for the hunt!

They’re very cute and “fresh”, make me looking forward to be at Easter time. I’ve just discovered your blog by chance and I think you’re brilliant. I’m an italian mum, I’m a ceramist and I do love handmade and homemade creations. Nice to meet you!
