One of the highlights of having a Mother/Daughter blog, has been documenting Sarah’s baking skills over the past 5 years. She is still as passionate about baking as she was at the age of 11 years when we started this adventure. Sarah is continually mastering new skills and techniques in the kitchen and is always spoiling us with home baked treats. We usually feature 1-2 recipes per week here.
We have collated 40 of Sarah’s favourite recipes into a keepsake book for her, entitled “Sarah’s Kitchen”. We have used images and recipes from the blog, and published it using Blurb Books.
Blurb Books have a Blurb Book Making tool that guides you through the process. They had a number of templates for Cook Books. We chose a full sized photo on one page, with the recipe facing. There are options for soft cover, hard cover, eBooks, types of paper, book size etc. When we had finished we uploaded it to their site, and in just over a week, the book had been printed and delivered.
Of course we needed to include an Author profile.
“Sarah’s Kitchen” is a lovely record of Sarah’s baking over the past year. We are planning on publishing a new volume each year as a lovely record of her time in the kitchen.
Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post. We did receive a voucher to use at Blurb Books but were under no obligation to share our experiences. All photos and opinions are our own.

What yummy fun. I see Sarah publishing her own cookbook someday….and I hope to buy a signed copy when she does.
