Snowflake Bottle

December 15, 2012 By Spoonful of Sugar - 6 Comments

When we entertain, we always have plenty of iced water on hand for our guests. Christmas Day is usually hot in our part of the world, so it is important that everyone drinks plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Last time we visited Ikea, we picked up a few new water bottles. To make them look more festive on our Christmas Table, we cut out some white vinyl snowflakes with our Cricut, using the December 25th Cartridge. We also added some gingham ribbon. It was quick craft and we will peel off the snowflakes after Christmas to make the water bottles suitable for everyday use.

Another idea for recyled wine bottles are our Key Bottles.
Alternatively you can decorate your water bottles with a handmade ornament, like our gingham star,

Or decorate jars or bottles with contact paper.

Water bottles could also be decorated with Japanese washi tape.

Oh I Love the water bottles and how you have decorated them for the Season. I do believe you would have to check my purse when I was leaving your house… For fear that it would somehow land in there and I would go home with it 🙂
    Love it!!

So lovely, both the decorations and the bottle shapes. I really need to get one of those special Cricut cutters.
