True Blue

January 3, 2013 By Spoonful of Sugar - 10 Comments

When I was dropping the teens to work tonight, I dropped into the newsagency and picked up the latest issue of Homespun – The Holiday Issue. This issue has lots of lovely summer projects, many with an Australiana theme. It includes my True Blue Subway Style appliqued wall art. It also includes some great projects from some of our favourite Aussie designers/bloggers – Kate Henderson, Ros Mirrington, Rachel Measham-Pywell, Kristin Paton, and more.
Here is a close-up of the True Blue project.
This is a photo I took before I mailed the project off to the magazine.
Sarah and I are working on a couple of other projects for Australia Day. Love this time of year! We have started an Australia Day Pinterest Board with some patriotic decorating and craft ideas.

Why do we wait so long for our Homespun subscription in WA – hate it is in the shops before we get it. Love your True Blue Project through & can’t wait to see what else you come up with. Tracee xx

That looks like a great magazine. I went to a flea market in Dubai several weeks ago and there were some ladies who were selling this type of subway art. Lovely work. Best wishes, Tammy

It is nice to see project made by bloggers I know. I like the idea might do something similar with place names.
