Lounge Pants

January 2, 2013 By Spoonful of Sugar - 7 Comments

Hope 2013 has got off to a great start for you! We are looking forward to a new year that is full of possibility.

It has been a while since I have done any recreational sewing. Now that the Christmas decorations have been packed away and life is returning to our normal summer rhythm, I escaped to my sewing area for a few hours of sewing.

I made Sarah a pair of 3/4 length lounge pants, with a drawstring waist and contrasting cuff. I based them on the Lounge Pants pattern from Sewing Green. We love the fun Travel fabric and polka dot cuff from XO Gigi Fabrics.

These will be perfect for our next holiday. Next up is a Pyjama Bag to store them in.

In other news we have recently changed providers for our Newsletter. The first newsletter for the year was emailed out today so check your inboxes. We are sending out newsletters every 1-2 weeks with a summary of what is happening on our blog. If you want to keep up to date with our latest creative projects and recipes, you can subscribe here.

These look very comfy and I love the fabrics. I too have been able to do some recreational sewing in recent days, now that the Christmas present rush has finished.
