If you are like me, you probably have a hand sewing, embroidery, or cross stitch project on the go. I love to keep all my materials and supplies organised by project so I can simply grab and go when I have some time to stitch in a waiting room, when travelling, or in front of the TV.
To keep everything organised, I’ve designed the Sew and Stow Pouch. Featuring a large mesh pocket and an integrated tape measure, it is well sized for a hand stitching project. The exterior of the pouch features a quilted hourglass patchwork cover.

Sew and Stow is a pretty and practical project. It can be easily made in half a day. It fits neatly in your tote bag or suitacase.

I am using this pouch to hold my lastest sashiko project. The pouch matches my sashiko thread perfectly!

You can also use the Sew and Stow Pouch to hold a journal and stationery supplies. The finished portfolio measures 12 1/2 inches x 9 1/2 inches. It would be easy to pop in your laptop bag when working away from the office.
I used continuous striped zipper tape to make the pouches shown here. I added a sweet zipper charm as a finishing touch.

The Sew and Stow Pouch Sewing Pattern is a 13 page ePattern available in our Pattern Store and Etsy Shop for immediate download. The pattern includes professional drawn diagrams and lots of coloured photographs to guide you through the construction.
