I’ve been designing a few new fall inspired patterns recently. This week I have the delightful Pumpkin Charms to share with you. This cute trio of foundation paper pieced pumpkins have been framed in 3-inch embroidery hoops and tied with gingham ribbon. They are super quick to create and are a fun addition to hang around your home or in your sewing room.
The pumpkins are foundation paper pieced which helps to make accurate pumpkins. They would be suitable for a confident beginner foundation paper piecer. I’ve included in the pattern, the basics of foundation paper piecing to get you started.
Pumpkin Charms are perfect for fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving decor. I think they would make a lovely little favor to put at each place setting for a special fall celebration or Thanksgiving. Best of all they can be quickly made with your favourite fall inspired fabric scraps.
The black gingham ribbon is the perfect finishing touch!
Be warned, these sweet pumpkins charms are addictive. It takes less than an hour to make each one. I have made so many my stash of orange scraps is nearly depleted. Next up I’m making Halloween inspired ones using some small scale Halloween prints.
You can find the pattern for the Pumpkin Charms in our Pattern Store and Etsy Shop.
