We celebrated Easter with a Peter Rabbit inspired high tea for our extended family. I have always loved the timeless appeal of Peter Rabbit and enjoyed reading Beatrix Potters tales when I was a child and then again when my daughters were small.
The table was decorated with Peter Rabbit crockery; terracotta pots; carrots; bunnies and more! I made a display with vintage Peter Rabbit collectable soft toys, books, and other items, including a sweet mug given to my daughter for her Christening.
Savoury snacks included mini cucumber and smoked salmon sandwiches; mini quiches; fritters and more.
Sweet treats included sugar cookies in the shapes of bunnies and Easter eggs, drizzled with royal icing and coordinating sprinkles.
Coconut cupcakes decorated with swirled buttercream icing and beautiful sprinkles from The Sprinkle Company. The little carrot sprinkles were the perfect finishing touch.
Vanilla cupcakes decorated with buttercream and mini chocolate eggs.
Cheesecake brownie, macaroons, and carrot cake completed the menu.
To celebrate Easter, each guest was given a mini bag of chocolate eggs.
I found sweet Peter Rabbit plates and serving platters from Pottery Barn.
Scrappy Carrot Bunting went perfectly with the theme. You can find the pattern in our Etsy store.
Patchwork bunny coasters worked with the theme. You can find the pattern in our Etsy store.
It was such a treat to have all the family together and so much fun to celebrate with Peter Rabbit which is a classic theme for Easter, baby showers, birthdays and more.

What an absolutely beautiful post – this is such a lovely idea & something I will certainly consider for next Easter. I loved everything you have done. I purchased your bunny coaster pattern & made a couple for my Easter decorating this year – thank you for such a beautiful pattern.
