I love putting my scraps to good use to produce new quilt blocks. One of my favourite way of using scraps it to create mini foundation paper piecing blocks. I have been building a large range of blocks that are offered in multiple sizes. My latest FPP pattern is the Kite Block. This striking block is made using three different fabrics.
The Kite Block is available in 5 different sizes – 2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch, 5 inch and 6 inch. This means you can make the perfectly sized block for your project. These blocks are suitable for quilts, mini quilts, bags, pouches, placemats, pot holders, and more. So many possibilities for this fun block.
The pattern includes a colouring sheet so you can plan your project. I used retro prints in both coloured and low volume fabrics. I love the retro vibe of this block. They are beginner friendly and can be easily made from small fabric offcuts.
These Kite Blocks are 3 inch squared.
You can find the Kite Block Foundation Paper Piecing PDF Quilt Pattern in our Pattern Shop and Etsy Store for immediate download. The price is affordable and includes 5 sizes. Templates are available in both A4 and Letter format.
