🌿 Let's Sew a Lavender Tree Bag! 🌿Quick, easy, and perfect for using up those fabric scraps! This delightful Tree Lavender Bag is made from a foundation paper pieced block and makes a wonderful gift. 🎁✨You Will Need:Forest Fantasy Tree Block (3 ½ x 5 inches)Backing fabric (3 ½ x 5 inches)Dried lavender buds (approx. 3 tablespoons)Method:Pin the tree block to the backing fabric with right sides facing and edges aligned.Sew around the outside using a ¼ inch seam allowance, leaving a 2 ½ inch gap along one long side.Clip the corners and turn right side out through the gap.Fill with lavender.Hand stitch the opening closed.Makes a small lavender bag measuring 3 x 4 ½ inches. Perfect as a stocking stuffer or paired with a hand towel or face mask for a lovely scented gift. 🌲 Holiday Craft Alert: Easy Tree Napkins! 🌲Is your scrap fabric pile overflowing? Put those scraps to good use and make some festive tree napkins with me for the holidays! 🎄✨Materials Needed:
• White fabric napkin (or sew your own!)
• Scraps of fabric in green, blue, and charcoal
• Coordinating threads
• Double-sided fusible webThis quick and easy holiday project is perfect for dressing your table for a special Christmas dinner. 🍽️✨Instructions:1. Select your applique tree from our Tree Applique pattern (contains 5 trees, each in four sizes).
2. Trace the tree onto the paper backing of fusible web. Cut around the shapes.
3. Press onto the back of the fabric and cut around the shape.
4. Peel off the paper backing. Position on the napkin and press in place.
5. Stitch around each shape with coordinating thread. Press.I made my napkin to coordinate with the Merry Bauble Table Set. 🎁✨You can find both the Tree Applique and the Merry Bauble Table Set patterns in our Pattern Store and Etsy Shop.
