Cord Cosy

January 17, 2024 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 6 Comments

My latest free sewing pattern is for the Cord Cosy. This handy, scrap buster project will keep your cords and cables tidy and organised.

Get your free Cord Cosy Sewing Pattern when you sign up to our weekly newsletter.

All you need for this project is: two pieces of contrasting fabric, fusible interfacing, and a small piece of hook and pile fastener tape (also known as Velcro).

This is a great beginner project – you just need to know how to sew a straight stitch and pivot at the corners. Easy peasy!

Do you have a lot of cords/cables in your sewing room? I have cords for my iron, overlocker/serger/sewing machine, lamp; laptop; and more. This is a great way to neatly store the cords when the appliances aren’t in use. They are also ideal for travellers to keep cables organised in your suitcase. So many uses for this handy cord cosy.

Cord cosy is a quick and easy project. It is a great project to put your scraps to good use. Best of all it is free if you sign up to my weekly newsletter.

As I always get your newsletter, it appears to me that I have already registered with you. So how can I get the free patterns you offer to new registrants? I would like to receive a number of the patterns you offer to new folks for free but don’t know how to access them. Please help.

Hi Jan – Check the newsletter that went out on Sunday 14 January as it was included in that issue. If you sign up again through the link in this post the pattern will be emailed to you immediately. You can sign up multiple times to take advantage of new offers but you will be only sent one newsletter, unless you use different email addresses. I always send new freebies to those that are already on the list as a special thank you.
