Spring is in the air, and what better way to celebrate than with our delightful new Bunny Bunting pattern! 🐰 This pattern shows you how to make cute pennants featuring an appliqued bunny silhouette. You can use your favourite pastel and low volume fabric scraps to create a charming spring or Easter decoration for your home.
The bunnies are appliqued using a raw edge applique technique. This is a great way to add the bunny silhouette and you can use your favourite pastel prints. I went with fabric from the Dainty Daisy range by Riley Blake Designs. I like to use fabrics with a low contrast design so they read as solids. I used low volume backgrounds so the bunnies stand out.
I used pink gingham bias binding that has a picot crochet edge. This adds to the spring vibe.
Bunny Bunting is fast to construct and can be easily completed in an afternoon. You can make it longer with more pennants and bunnies to suit your space. This would look adorable hanging over a mantlepiece or doorway to add Spring colour and charm to your home.
You can find the Bunny Bunting pattern in our Pattern Store and Etsy Shop. It is a PDF sewing pattern that can be immediately downloaded. It has comprehensive instructions, illustrations, photographs and templates to guide you through the construction process.
