Sewing time has been in short supply again this week but I did get a chance to make up a Passport Protector for a friend’s daughter who loves all things French. I used one of my older tutorials for the Passport Protector. You can find it here.
The fabric I used was Trefle by Kokka, a linen blend, with some Lecien polka dots.
I found the sweet Eiffel Tower label from This and That from Japan They don’t have any more in stock but have some lovely Japanese trims/ribbons.
I made up a matching tag using the Summer in Paris Cricut Cartridge.
Thanks for all the comments on my giveaway post. Love all the ideas for crafting for a cause – lots of worthwhile charities around. You still have time to enter – I will draw a winner on Saturday.
How very cute Lisa…the fabric is just so perfect for your project. I know what you mean about time being in short supply…so much inspiration, so little time!
That is so cute! I just got that pattern of yours out this week to make my daughter and a family friend a passport cover before their school trip to Vietnam in a few weeks.

That’s adorable Lisa. I love the cute little added touch of the tag — you’re so creative!
What a fun little project! Thanks for revisiting the pattern and offering the link to the tutorial. I spend much of my summer months in Canada and when friends and family come for a visit from the states, I can present them with a sweet and useful little gift!! ~karen
This turned out great! What a wonderful gift.
Makes me want to book a flight to Paris right now!
Adoring this! I’m soooo into red with white dots at the moment. I even changed my etsy shop banner, and classroom pin up boards to red with white dots! xx
Love it. All the colors blend so nicely together. A perfect gift.

Hi Lisa!
I love the Paris passport holder!!! It is so cute. I made myself one from your tutorial and loved it so much that I have made most of my friends one when their birthday rolled around. Thank you so much for sharing!
If I remember correctly you have been making cookies from the Martha Stewart Cookie Book. I have made several kinds. The Oatmeal Raisin recipe is one that a friend of mine’s husband calls the “perfect cookies”. I live in Alabam so instead of raisins (I don’t like raisins) I use pecans. For the Milk Chocolate Cookies I used chocolate with little bits of almond in it–oh my goodnes–they are fabulous!!
I love reading your blog–I deeply appreciate your tutorials–so are so kind to share!!
So sweet and I love the colors. Red, white and blue. How perfect.
Love that passport cover! How perfect for someone who loves everything French! I love all the little details.
Really, really sweet:-)
I really love that fabric! And have I mentioned my Cricut envy?! (I believe I have, but I’m making you hear about it again!) I sooooo gotta get one of those.
I really like these fabrics, too. And I have Cricut envy, too. Nice use of pretty twine.
This is absolutely gorgeous! Love the linen fabric and twine, and of course the french style. Beautiful work!
Pop by our corner and say hi xx
