We are working towards adding some new patterns to our Pattern Shop and Etsy store and are excited to release our latest downloadable pdf sewing pattern – Pretty Peg Bucket. The design is an 8 page tutorial style pattern, with heaps of photos and tips to guide a beginner sewer through the project.
The Pretty Peg Bucket will keep your pegs and clothsespins close at hand. It features a handy carabiner hook which clips the bucket to your clothesline, clothes airer or belt, so that your pegs are within easy reach. With its drawstring closure and spring toggle, the bucket can be closed when not in use to keep your pegs/clothespins in place. It is constructed from three co-ordinating quilting fabrics. Fusible wadding gives the bucket its structure.
The peg bucket adds some colour to your laundry and can be easily washed.
We made our first Peg Bucket three years ago and it is still going strong (refer to orange bucket below). Whether you are looking for pretty storage for your pegs/clothespins, or a practical gift, the Pretty Peg Bucket is a fun and useful project. It can be easily constructed in an afternoon.
