{Book Review} Paperie by Kristy Neale

If you like playing with paper as much as we do, you will love Paperie by Kristy Neale, which contains 100 creative papercraft ideas that can be used as gifts, décor, stationery, and accessories. We loved Kristy Neale’s first book, Hoop-La, so were keen to check out her latest book which is all about crafting with paper. Regardless of your level of skill, you will find plenty of projects to inspire you in this lovely book which is full of fresh and modern ideas. The book includes 12 pages of pull out sheets so that you can get started creating straight away.

The front of the book includes a handy visual index that divides the crafts between 10 categories: Stationery; Cards + Wrapping; Wearable; Re-used and Recycles; At Home; Fun Stuff; On the Wall; Gift Ideas; Parties + Weddings; and Instant Fix. The projects include a range of techniques including: origami, decoupage, paper-cutting, paper mache, collage, sewing on paper, and stamping and embossing.

All of the projects are beautifully photographed and include clear, step by step instructions, and templates where required. You can either make the projects as detailed, or use them as an inspiration to create your own pieces.
