Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I love making new decorations each year to match our theme. This year for our metallic Christmas, I have made a big batch of paper origami stars in shades of gold, silver, rose gold, black and white. They were quick to make – I made around 20 last night while watching TV.
I had a few sheets of origami paper that co-ordinated with our theme. I also cut 6 inch x 6 inch squares of wrapping paper for the rest. I have scattered them around my living room as a decoration, and will attach some of the others to gifts using wooden pegs. You could even add some twine to them and hang them from your tree.
I used the easy tutorial for a 5 pointed origami Star that I found over on Homemade Gifts made Easy.
