Farmers Market

My order of Farmers Market from the Fat Quarter Shop arrived today! I love the bright summery colours and have loads of projects in mind for this fabric. 

In fact, I put some of it to good use already in these sweet little yo yo’s I am making.


I am working on this project at the moment …. (can’t show you it all just yet!)

I whipped up another little basket this week.

Things may be a little quiet around here over the next week or so. Life is very busy at the moment – mainly with ferrying kids to rehearsals etc. I am looking forward to September when life will be getting back to normal and the arrival of Spring! 

I would like to thank Erin, Sarah and Ang who have given us awards recently – thanks so much ladies – much appreciated!!

    I have to second lizziejane, we too are leaving summer behind us and heading into autumn (we’ve had a very grey and pretty cold summer so we’re hoping our autumn will be mild).

    Hope you get to sneak in some craft time even though you’re going to be busy. x

    Mmmmm. The fabrics are yummi! And the yo-yos! I still haven’t tried to sew a basket, but it’s on my to-do list….and I may have to sew it soon, yours are so adorable 🙂

    I love the fabric – its beautiful. Can’t wait to see what the yo-yos become. I’ve trying my hand at making some for the first time today (they’re not as nice as yours!). I’m using the Clover “flower” template and the yo-yos are turning out to be teeny tiny!

    I love that Swell little basket of yours. I just love that material anyway. Oh, and I have been drooling over that Farmers Market material. Don’t you just love how they package stuff at the FQS? I know it always tickles me to get a package from them. I cannot wait to see what you are up to.

    I absolutely LOVE that basket. That is wonderful. That would be so amazing for keeping knitting in because of the way it stands up. Where is that pattern from? Those fabrics totally brightened my day today…it’s kind of gloomy outside…I think it will thunderstorm.
