Are you new to making Dresden plates? The Dresden Needlebook pattern includes general instructions and tips for creating perfect mini Dresdens to add to the front and back of your needlebook. The Dresdens are a fun project to use your favourite fabric scraps. I used template plastic to create a wedge shape for the wedges/blades but you can cut them by hand using the paper pattern piece included.
Dresden Needlebook Pattern includes options for the needlebook closure. I used a snap set in my needlebook shown here. You can also use sew in studs (press studs); velcro; or a ribbon tie.
The Dresden Needlebook includes two handy pockets. These are ideal to store needles; mini scissors, needle threaders, clips; buttons; and more! There is also opportunity to add your own embellishments such as sew on applique patches; sew in tags; and more. Adding your own personality to the project is half the fun!!
