Drawstring Pouch

September 18, 2012 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 9 Comments

Drawstring Pouches are so handy – perfect for storing all manner of things. Using the Pretty Drawstring Pouch Tutorial, we enlarged the pattern by 3/4 inch on all sides to make a slightly larger pouch.

These ones have been decorated with a patch of Retro Clock fabric and a small piece of ribbon on the front of the pouch before it was sewn together.
They are perfectly sized to hold all of our chargers/adapters when travelling.
They would also be perfect as a small Christmas gift bag – with some Festive fabric on the front.

I’ve made 2 of the standard size drawstring bags, now to do what you show in this post. Thank you for the inspiration and the great pattern.

I can see so many uses for this pouch, it is just awesome. Got to get some made soon! Our trip is fast approaching. About 30 days before we leave.

I love the tin, too. Do you have a tutorial for it? This is so cute! I can see many, many uses for it, too. I happen to have a couple of these empty cans available.

Hello sweet girls! I was wondering if this bag is big enough to hold shoes? So adorable bags.
