Christmas sewing is fun, any-time of the year! When this lovely bundle of Under the Christmas Tree arrived recently, I couldn’t resist playing with it straight away. I made simple Christmas star coasters, edged with ricrac trim.
Under the Christmas Tree, by Lecien Fabrics is due out in May, in plenty of time for your Christmas sewing. This range uses traditional Christmas colours of red, green, and cream. It features lots of small scale, retro style prints including: snowmen, holly, snowflakes, toys, hearts and more. It would be perfect for fussy cutting, English paper piecing, ornaments, table runners, quilts, and more.
The heart print is my favourite – it has a a Scandinavian feel to it.
Disclaimer: Thanks to Lecien Fabrics for providing the fabric for this project. All opinions are our own.
