I love bottles – they look great grouped together on our meals table and really catch the light. I am gradually adding to the collection, just need to find some that are the colour of sea glass to add some more contrast.
I have also seen some great tutorials on how to colour your own glass jars and bottles – here and here. Hope to try that soon.
I have corralled the bottles onto a white ceramic platter for ease of moving them around. I love all the different sizes and shapes I have found so far – most of them are repurposed/recycled.
I recently bought some glass tape with keys and numbers printed on it. I have added strips of tape to some of my bottles to add some interest.
They were tricky to photograph, but look great on our table. It is very subtle.
I am also thinking of getting some decal paper so that I can print out an Eiffel Tower and other images to add to the bottles. There is a great tutorial on adding printed images using decal transfers here.

Wow, great bottle collection! I would love to collect fun shaped bottles like this too. I love how you dressed them up with that glass tape – very cool effect. I have four glass bottles in different colors that I used to put flowers in during the spring and summer seasons. They look so charming on our kitchen windowsill.
Beautiful bottle collection. This is good inspiration to recycle and reuse old bottles.
