This Week……

This week I have been:-

  • Making Vanilla Syrup for my Dad’s coffee from a recipe found via Craftzine. I used real vanilla bean in place of vanilla extract.

  • Starting my first Quilt using some Prints Charming fabric I bought from Hot Possum

  • Making Bath Salts and Bath Bomb at Guides for my Mum

  • Selling Guide Biscuits!

This week we would like to thank Rachel, from One Pretty Thing, and Amy from Mom Advice, for featuring our Restaurant Folders!

    Guide biscuits are so yummy aren’t they. Ours are sold here in March and we always have to buy some chocolate and minis but at least a carton of originals as they are fabulous for things like bases or fudge cake. I love them with butter on.

    I love Girl Guides and any time a little girl comes to our door with their parents in tow. Everyone in the house (whoever is here at the moment) buys a box. The girls are always quite thrilled.

    You amaze me.

    How is your son doing? Still happy from his fantastic adventure.

    I have a bunch of vanilla beans I was given by a friend who just came back from Madagascar, that vanilla syrup sounds perfect (maybe not for my coffee, I like it bitter, but I think it will be perfect with my plain yogurt!)
