I love sewing little zippered pouches. They are so handy to pop into your handbag to store all manner of items – from spare change, loyalty cards, tissues, medication, make-up essentials etc. I made this little hexie zippered pouch using some beautiful Japanese chambray. The hexagon flower is made using predominantly sweetly florals from Old New 30’s by Atsuko Matsuyama. Each side measures just 1/2 inch. I used a Fiskars hexagon punch (size medium) to punch the papers for this flower.
I lined the inside of the pouch with a lovely Sevenberry floral print and added a small zakka label. If you are looking for little labels – search for “Zakka Label” on Etsy. The metal zipper was also an Etsy purchase. The zippered pouch measures 5.5 x 3.5 inches. 
The chambray and Sevenberry floral come from Ministry of Fabric, who have a lovely curated range of sweet and modern prints. I especially love their range of Sevenberry and Lecien Fabrics from Japan. They also stock the cutest little wooden strawberry buttons.
