Taking a Short Break

January 20, 2015 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 25 Comments

Small Hexie Work in Progress

My current WIP (Work in Progress) is a small hexie project. It is coming together exactly as I imagined it …..  Love when that happens.

Small Hexie Work in Progress
Small Hexie Work in ProgressI am taking a short break while I get myself organised for the year ahead. I am about to finish my job of 20+ years and start a new job. I will be back here in just over a month refreshed and with loads of new projects planned. Meanwhile, you will probably find me posting occasionally on instagram (I doubt I could totally stay away from everything blog related!) After 7 years a short break will be welcome.

See you back here in March!

Hi, just to say Good Luck in your new job, and look forward to your return. I am a new reader to your blog and I love it. I have already made the shoe bag for my sister who travels a lot – she loved it, and I am planning on making one for my hubby next – I have some lovely world map fabric to use! Thanks for all your great ideas.

Hi!! Good luck for your new job, and enjoy your time during the break you’re taking! I’ve been a more than regular reader for the pas few years and will impatiently be waiting for your new projects. You and Lisa are one of the few people who made me want to sew and I’ll try to catch up with all the projects I haven’t finished during your time off!

    “See” you soon!

Thank you so much for sharing! My mom made a little coin purse for with the kind of hexagon patterns too, but when I asked her about how she did it, she said she doesn’t remember it anymore! Love it!!!
