Origami Bunny Basket

March 4, 2014 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 5 Comments

Bunny Baskets

Origami is such a fun activity. It is surprising how one square of paper can become so many different things with some clever folding. When we spotted an online video tutorial to make an Origami Bunny Box, we knew we had to make some.

Origami bunnies

We used a 6 inch square of pretty origami paper than features a doiley design. We purchased our origami paper from a 100 yen store in Tokyo last year. With its pastel colours, we thought it would be perfect for some Easter bunnies. The bunnies are a good size to fill with mini chocolate eggs. We think these would be fun as little gifts or to put as each person’s table setting for a special Easter meal.

If you would like to make your own, check out the video over at Origami Spirit. We had to pause the video a few times to keep up with the instructor but once you have mastered the first one, the others are fairly quick to make.
