Tilda Maple Farm and Tilda Tiny Farm are the newest fabric ranges from Tilda. I was fortunate to receive a pre-release bundle from Two Green Zebras and have made 4 projects featuring these sweet fabrics, which I will be sharing over the new couple of weeks.
As soon as I saw the Tiny Farm range, I knew it would be perfect for a placemat and coaster set. Tiny Farm features farm animals, gardening tools, farmhouses, and florals in pretty, muted shades of aqua, blue, pink, grey, orange, lavender, brown, and green. Tiny Farm fabric would look great in projects for a nursery or young child’s room.
Using my Easy Hexagon Trivet and Coaster PDF Sewing Pattern, I constructed a Placemat and 3 coasters. This pattern is beginner friendly and is easily made in under an hour.
Children will have fun looking at the images while they eat – you can even play “eye spy” to teach them to identify farm animals.

It is fun combining the various prints from Tiny Farm in this hexagon dining set.
