It is never too early to get started on Christmas projects. Each year I vow to be more organised and this year I have a big list of handmade projects – I love this time of year! What I love best, is quick craft projects so you can inject some handmade love into your gifts and celebrations.
This week I made a start on my Christmas gift making. First up was this Yuletide Cottage Tea Towel made using my Yuletide Cottages pattern, available in my Etsy and Pattern Shop. The cottages are attached to the tea towel using raw edge applique.
I used April Showers fabric from the Bonnie and Camille range for Moda, which was released a few years ago. This is a fun pattern, and you can customise the colours to suit your Christmas colour theme/style. You can add the appliques to tea towels, pillowcases, Santa sacks, pillows, clothing, or pot holders.Β The possibilities are endless. A great way to use your favourite fabric scraps to add some Christmas cheer.
Add Christmas cookie cutters or spatulas, or other baking supplies to create a sweet handmade gift for neighbours, teachers, friends, or anyone on your gift list!
