Hexagon Pincushion

October 19, 2014 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 19 Comments

Hexagon PincushionI am becoming addicted to making little hexagons … once you get started it is hard to stop! I used my favourite pretty floral prints, mainly by Atsuko Matsuyama, in these little hexies. The sides measure 3/4 inch.

Hexagon Pincushion

I have been crushing the sweet pincushions made by Amy from Nana Company  for the longest time (you can see them here and here).  Go and take a look – they are so adorable.

It was such a sweet and satisfying little project to work on this weekend. I can see more hexagons in my future. Perhaps even a quilt?

    Love this pincushion!
    It’s so cute.

You think about a quilt from Hexagon?
I sewed on for my son. All by hand.
It was a terrible job. But he loves his quilt. The quilt also needs to bed. And on sofa … on holidays …
On my blog you can see the quilt.

    Happy stitching 🙂
