I am becoming addicted to making little hexagons … once you get started it is hard to stop! I used my favourite pretty floral prints, mainly by Atsuko Matsuyama, in these little hexies. The sides measure 3/4 inch.
I have been crushing the sweet pincushions made by Amy from Nana Company for the longest time (you can see them here and here). Go and take a look – they are so adorable.
It was such a sweet and satisfying little project to work on this weekend. I can see more hexagons in my future. Perhaps even a quilt?

Absolutely pretty!
Thanks Christy 🙂
It truly is a ‘pretty little thing’!
Thanks Karen!
Love this pincushion!
It’s so cute.
You think about a quilt from Hexagon?
I sewed on for my son. All by hand.
It was a terrible job. But he loves his quilt. The quilt also needs to bed. And on sofa … on holidays …
On my blog you can see the quilt.

Thanks Michelle – you should make one – they are fun to do.
So sweet!!! Thank you!
Thanks Victoria.
Thanks for the inspirations to make lovely gifts for friends and family. It is so nice to see someone making up quick and easy projects that look very complicated. You both make a great team.
Thanks so much Gladlys – hope you have a lovely creative week!
