Wash.Dry.Fold.Repeat

June 26, 2012 By Spoonful of Sugar - 15 Comments

Wash.Dry.Fold.Repeat.

Sometimes it feels a bit like that. Laundry is one of my least favourite chores, and no sooner are you up to date, when the family has refilled the laundry hampers and it all needs to be done.   AGAIN…

I cut out some Vinyl Lettering to remind me of the routine when I am in the laundry. I was inspired by some similar decals that I had seen on Pinterest.

The letters are cut with my digital cutting machine using the Times Roman font, cut at 2.6 inches in height. I positioned them in the corner of the laundry bench where I fold and sort the laundry.

Anyway my washing machine is beeping at me – it is time to put on the next load….

Our laundry basket is always full, too. But I gotta say, laundry is one of the easiest things to do. Just put it in the washer and let it go. Next up, the dryer does its job. And then all I have to do is fold. When I was 12, I babysat for a lady who taught me how to fold towels and cloth diapers and since that time, folding laundry has been one of my favorite things to do. Now putting it away is another story. ha! have a great day. Tammy

Lisa it looks great. Did you cut those out with the Cricut? What programme do you use?

What a great way to liven up your laundry space, especially if you don’t like doing laundry. This makes it a little easier to spend time there. How great to have a digital cutting machine to cut out these letters! I might have to look for one of those. Personally, I kinda like doing laundry and ironing.

Doing laundry is one of my fave jobs, having raised 5 kids it seems soo boring now washing for just hubby and I. I have baskets of ironing to do tho, don’t seem to have enough time these days, go figure!
