Fete Favourites

The latest Handmade Magazine hit the news stands today, and it has a fun feature of things to make for fetes, including two of my projects. Now that my two kids are no longer in primary school, I haven’t been as involved recently in school fetes. However it is always good to have a few ideas at the ready for when you need to whip up a batch of goodies for a fund raiser.

Here are my Peg Magnets (using my ever increasing supply of Japanese masking tape)

and some Lavender Wheat Bags.

    Your Japanese tape supplies should be DECREASING, not increasing LOL. The peg magnets are very cute, and I love the fabrics you’ve used for the wheat bags.
    Can’t say that I’ve ever made anything crafty for a fete…I usually do lots of baking 🙂

    I just may have to pick up a copy of this mag – not only are those ideas lovely for fetes, they’d be perfect (and quick!) for gifts too. I’ve not done anything for a school fete yet but as Miss Five is in Prep, I’m sure it won’t be long before I do!
