Emergency Zippered Pouch

June 3, 2012 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 11 Comments

Here are some more Emergency Zippered Pouches made up over the weekend.

These ones were made using some Bliss fabric that I had in my stash. They take a little less than an hour to make so are the perfect project when time is short.

Sarah and I are finding them very useful to hold all manner of supplies, so I was requested to make up some extra’s so we have all bags covered!

Our tutorial for the Emergency Zippered Pouch has proven to be very popular with over 25, 000 views in the past two months. What is really lovely, it that some readers have taken the concept and made it their own to fit a blood glucose monitor and other emergency supplies. Brigette from KB Design modified the design to make a pouch for her epi-pen. You can see her lovely version below.

If you make anything using one of our tutorials or patterns, please let us know and we can pin your photo to our Pinterest page – “Made Using A Spoonful of Sugar Patterns/Tutorials” . You can find us on Pinterest here.

Das Epi-Pen Täschen ist immer noch in Gebrauch. Es ist natürlich immer bei mir, ob in der Hand-, Einkaufstasche oder im Rucksack.

Sharing a closer look at the Handy Drawstring Pouc Sharing a closer look at the Handy Drawstring Pouch today — a sweet little project that’s as practical as it is pretty. I stitched this one in the blue and gold colourway of the Tilda Songbird collection and love how the soft watercolour florals shine in a small make. The pouch features cleverly shaped panels (with no boxed corners), stands tall when in use, and folds completely flat for storage. It’s also reversible, which makes it such a fun and versatile sew.   These little pouches are perfect for organising your sewing room, gifting to a friend, or popping into a project bag.The pattern includes three sizes, and you can find it in both my Pattern Store and Etsy shop. Comment HANDY and I’ll send the link straight to your inbox.A big thank you to @tilda_australia for gifting the beautiful fabric.#tildasongbird #drawstringbagpattern #aspoonfulofsugardesigns #tildafabrics #sewingproject
