Introducing our latest foundation paper piecing pattern – the Windmill Quilt Block. This block creates movement with its windmill blades and works well when used in a quilt, mini quilt, pillow, table runner, pouch, bag, or more!
In my 3 inch blocks shown here, I used bright florals combined with low volume fabrics. This makes the colour really pop. The pattern includes a colouring sheet so you can experiment with your own colour combinations.
I like to use my vintage buttons in photos of my quilt blocks. If you were not aware, I am an avid collector of vintage haberdashery and love adding them to my photos to add some vintage charm.
The beauty of these little Windmill Quilt blocks is that you can use your favourite scraps to make a batch of blocks perfect for your next project.
The Windmill Quilt Block pattern includes blocks in five sizes – 2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch, 5 inch and 6 inch – perfect for your next project. The 16 page pattern includes full sized templates in both A4 and Letter size to suit your paper/printer. You will always have the right size for your next project.
You can find the Windmill Quilt Block in our Pattern Store and Etsy Shop for immediate download.
