
Our newest FPP block, Simple Shack is an easy-to-make foundation paper piecing design is perfect for quilters of all skill levels. Featuring five different sizes and a colouring sheet, it’s great for experimenting with your favorite colorful scraps or subtle low-volume prints. Whether you go bold and vibrant or prefer soft, cozy shades, the choice is yours! House blocks are universally popular and are fun to incorporate into a wide range of projects.

In this set of Simple Shacks, I used pastel fabrics in different colours and then used the same background, roof, and door to give them a cohesive look. I used a sweet print with gold stars for the windows to depict the light shining within our homes. These blocks are so much fun to make. Little houses can be grouped together to create a streetscape. Add some FPP Trees to complete the scene.

The Simple Shack comes in 5 sizes – 2 inches, 3 inches, 4 inches, 5 inches, and 6 inches. It is ideal for including in projects such as quilts, mini quilts, table runners, pouches, bags, pillows and more. What will you use your Simple Shacks for?
