I love when you discover the most perfect fabric for a sewing project. The sweet, sleeping animals featured in the new Tilda Hibernation fabric range are ideal for a Relaxation Eye Pillow, don’t you think? Sleepy baby animals make you feel relaxed. The Hibernation fabric range is due to be released on October 1 2023. It comes in a range of pretty colours and I selected the pink/purple colorway for this project and fussy cut the animals for the front of the pillow.
The Relaxation Eye Pillow can be made with or without an elastic strap. It is gently weighted by filling the pillow with dried lavender buds. The sweet fragrance and gentle weight, help you to relax during yoga/meditation. The relaxation eye pillow makes a lovely gift for a friend. It can be teamed with a candle or body products. Giving the gift of relation is priceless 🙂 This project can be easily made in around an hour and you can use your favourite coordinating fabric scraps.
