"Oy with the Poodles Already!"

March 5, 2011 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 24 Comments

“Oy with the Poodles Already!” a quote from the well loved TV series, Gilmore Girls, is one of Sarah’s favourite catch phrases. It is useful in all types of situations! When she spotted the poodle fabric in my stash, she immediately put in a request for a poodle pouch.

You can view a video clip of “Oy With the Poodles Already”  (Season 2, Episode 22)  here.  Sarah’s other favourite Gilmore Girls quote is “Monkey Monkey Underpants” but we will save that one for another project! (For fun underpants projects check out the very clever and creative Myrtle and Eunice and Ricrac. )

Hi, this is beautiful. I also LOVE GG, but as there is only a dubbed version on German TV, I wasn’t aware of that quotation, but I justed watched the scene on Youtube. I like the “Monkey monkey underpants” even better. Maybe I don’t really understand what she wants to say with the poodles phrase. Well, but the bag is supercute. How did you get the phrase on the ribbon? There are some of my daughter’s quotes that I would love to use for similar projects.
    Bye,
    Jule

Love, love, love the Gilmore Girls and this is one of our phrases used often here. We also like “copper boom” and “and that sticks you with the mattress” among others.

Oh. The pouch is pretty cute too!

OMGOSH…..how cute…and funny. I love the Gilmore Girls and your pouch. My favorite quote from Lore is, “Oh, I can’t stop drinking the coffee. I stop drinking the coffee- I stop doing the standing, walking and the words-putting-into-sentence-doing.”
