Modern Nursery Projects - A Spoonful of Sugar

Baby on Trend is the debut fabric collection by Jemima Flendt of Tied with a Ribbon. Jemima has partnered with Two Green Zebras and Robert Kaufman Fabric for this collection which features modern baby prints in three colourways. I was given a bundle of the Woodland colourway to create contemporary nursery projects. Featuring simple geometric designs including trellis, stripes, and triangles, in shades of green/teal, mustard yellow, grey and brown. Sewing for the modern baby has never been easier.

First up, I made an Adventure Awaits Drawstring Bag. This stand up drawstring bag features raw edged appliqued snow capped mountains and rickrack trim. It is perfectly sized to hold nursery supplies or toys. The beginner friendly pdf sewing pattern is available in our Etsy store.

This Mini Fabric Basket is a handy addition to a modern nursery. It can hold small toys, items of clothing (such as socks), or other nursery supplies. Great way to keep the nursery organised.
