Are you new to foundation paper piecing? The Left and Right Blocks are beginner friendly and the perfect place to start to learn the basics of foundation paper piecing. Each block consists of three fabrics. When you make a combination of left and right blocks, you can achieve a variety of effects from the way you lay out the blocks.
The block above is made using 4 left blocks to create a pinwheel effect.
The block above uses two left and two right blocks.
This is a fun block to experiment with different layouts and is a great way to use your scraps. I used a summery palette of lime, fuchsia and teal in these samples.
Like all of my FPP Quilt blocks, the Left and Right Quilt Block comes in a variety of sizes. Blocks include: 2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch, 5 inch, and 6 inch. This makes it ideal for many applications including: pillows, mini quilts, quilts, bags, table runners and more.
