Ribbon Gift Box sewing pattern is perfect to use for all holidays and celebrations. In this Halloween box, I’ve used two contrasting Halloween prints. The pink and black really work well together. The luxurious black satin ribbon is the perfect finishing touch.
What would you store in your Halloween Ribbon Gift Box? You could fill it with candy for trick or treaters, or fill with a bag of homemade cookies. It is also perfectly sized for a coffee mug; candle; sewing supplies; toys; and other small treats.
Let’s talk fabric. I used four pre-cut layer cut squares (10-inch squares) for this project. You need two contrasting prints for the exterior, and two matching squares for the lining. This is a great project to use those orphan layer cake squares you have sitting in your stash.
Two of the flaps have an eyelet grommet in them to thread the ribbon through. This creates a neat professional finish to your gift box.
Best of all the gift box can be reused making it a sustainable ecofriendly gift-wrapping alternative.
The bottom of the Halloween Ribbon Gift Box box looks effective when the cleverly pieced panels are sewn together.
