When I am on vacation I always search out local quilting, sewing, craft and yarn stores. My favourite type of souvenir is craft supplies or sewing books/magazines – especially love items that are hard to find in Australia. On a trip to South Korea two years ago, I discovered a shop selling Daily Like supplies and I treated myself to some fabric.

My latest Flower Power Pouch features gorgeous Daily Like cotton fabric and reminds me of a wonderful holiday.

Some of the other items I have found when travelling vintage haberdashery and wooden spools from Parisian flea markets.
I loved exploring the fabric/quilt shops in Japan and found many unique supplies.
