There is nothing better than sipping a relaxing cup of tea from fine bone china. I made a hexagon placemat from pretty floral fabrics to match my favourite tea set. I used the Easy Hexagon Trivet and Coaster pdf sewing pattern.
The placemat showcases Retro 30’s Child Smile quilting fabric by Lecien Fabrics. All you need is seven, 10 inch squares of fabric for this project. It is the perfect project to use those orphan layer cake precuts that you have in your stash. This is such an easy, beginner friendly pattern and would make wonderful hostess gifts.
