As soon as I saw the pretty colours and floral prints in the new Tilda Circus fabric range, I knew it would be perfect for my latest design, Ella the Elephant Pillow. Tilda Circus is the newest fabric collection by the talented Norwegian designer Tone Finnanger. You can see more of her work at Tildas World. The blues, greens, and pink hues make this a versatile collection for many projects. Inspired by the silhouette circus print in the collection, I designed Ella the Elephant Pillow – perfect for a nursery, child’s bedroom, or playroom. It features a cute appliqued elephant holding a balloon, and is framed in a simple patchwork border. The pillow is finished with a zippered closure, hidden behind a placket.
Ella the Elephant Pillow is such a fun design that really showcases a favourite fabric range. It can be quickly and easily constructed in an afternoon.

Tilda Circus fabric collection will be available in April 2017 . I was lucky enough to receive some pre-release fabric from the Australian distributor, Two Green Zebras to use in this project.
