Peanut Pillows softly stuffed with fibrefill, are perfect for positioning your arm following breast surgery. They are sized well to use in bed or when sitting on the sofa. If you want to make a thoughtful gift for someone going through breast cancer, sew a breast cancer Peanut Pillow. As pink is the colour for breast cancer awareness, I used pretty pink floral fabrics from the new Plum Garden range by Tilda in this breast cancer peanut pillow.
Pink Ribbon is an initiative by the Cancer Council to provide vital support, research, and prevention to those impacted by Breast Cancer. With one in 7 women being diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime, it is important to have regular screening.
I made matching pink ribbon gift tags using my Cricut Expression Die Cutting machine and some coordinating fabric “scraps” from the Plum Garden range.
Peanut Pillow PDF Sewing Pattern is available in our Etsy store. It includes the pattern template, step by step photos, and is a beginner friendly sewing pattern. Peanut Pillows are also good for travellers or anyone with a neck condition who needs neck support when sitting.

I like this project! I have basic sewing skills, will this be difficult to put together?
