Australia’s Favourite Recipes is a collection of more than 70 treasured recipes collected from families around Australia. It features the stories and memories of everyday Australians and their favourite food. The recipes are varied and include many of our favourites – Berry Meringue Cake, Tiramasu, Victoria Sponge, Weet Bix Slice, Lamingtons, Rocky Road – and that is just from the Baking and Dessert section which we investigated first!
Other sections of the book include: Starters and Snacks; Soups; Vegetables; Meat and Poultry; and Seafood. Some of our favourite savory recipes include: Goat’s Cheese Tartlets; Thai Fish Cakes; Fast Basil Beef; and Quiche Lorraine.
