Gingham, polka dots and apples are combined in this Apple Lunch Tote. I always take a packed lunch to work and this tote is perfectly sized for lunch on the go. The red apples add a pop of colour to the tote.
The tote has shaped panels that create a flat base without the need for boxed corners. By using different fabric on the front and side panels, it adds interest to the design. I added a a tag from grosgrain striped ribbon in the front seam.
The apple blocks are really easy to construct using the foundation paper pieced method and are a fun way to use your little red scraps of fabric. You can find the Apple Lunch Tote pdf pattern in our Etsy store. It contains lots of step by step photos, full sized templates, and clear directions so that you can make your own Apple Lunch Tote.
