A Spoonful of Sugar – The Book

January 20, 2016 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 9 Comments

A Spoonful of Sugar: Sew 20 Simple Projects to Sweeten Your Surroundings Zakka Style

When I wrote my first blog post back in Feb 2008, I had no idea the opportunities it would bring. I am excited to announce that A Spoonful of Sugar: Sew 20 Simple Projects to Sweeten Your Surroundings Zakka Style will be available in April. Writing a book has always been a dream of mine. Published by Fons & Porter (F & W Media),  it is now available for pre-order from Amazon and Book Depository.

I designed 20 sewing projects to decorate your bedroom, kitchen, craft room and playroom or to give as one-of-a kind gifts. The sewing projects incorporate a number of techniques, including patchwork, raw-edge appliqué, crochet, and embroidery, so you can put your own unique twist on whatever project you choose. Most of the projects can be easily made in an afternoon or weekend. Each of the projects has loads of step by step instructions and lots of lovely illustrations and photographs, plus full sized templates.

Here are some of the projects from the book:
