Authentically Dad

August 26, 2010 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 18 Comments

With Fathers Day just around the corner, I designed a few fast projects for Dad. I always find making projects that are appealing to men a challenge. With my Dad’s (Husband, Father, Father-in-Law, and Grand-dad) less is more – they don’t like things that are too overdone. The Authentic fabric range was the perfect choice.

The tutorials for these projects will be released over the coming days at QFD Creative. The first project, Authentic Coasters, can already be found there.

The other projects include a golf towel (with a eyelet and hook to hang on your golf buggy), Fathers Day Card, and Picture Frame (if you look closely I am in the picture).

My sweet friend Janelle from Janellybelly Bags and Things, is giving away one of her fabulous rose bags. Pop on over here to enter.

I love all of the gifts you’ve created Lisa, but I am especially fond of the photo frame. The young lady in the front looks familiar, and the swirly 70’s carpet brings back memories.

Great idea coming up to Fathers Day. I should really get in a do some of these as I have been a bit slack and haven’t done anything yet for my dad. Would be great to get the kids to help as well.
